XSP& :: Frequently Asked Questions

What if I pay for three months and decide it’s not for me?
It is our intention that you absolutely love the XSP& experience. But we know how it is, it may not be for everyone. That’s fine. We ask that you give the program a chance for 4 weeks and if it just isn’t your thing, we’ll happily refund your remaining two months. No questions asked.

Where and when do you hold these workshops?
We are setting up groups of five. The first couple participants who register pretty much get to determine the date and time of the weekly workshops. From there we will fill out the remainder of the group. We’re launching workshops in at least three geographical locations: East (Macomb area), Central (North Woodward Ave. area) and West (Farmington/Novi area).

How long is the program?
Just like marketing your business, there’s never an end date. We’re constantly creating more curriculum to feed into the XSP& program. Just so you know, we currently have 80 chapters in the ever-expanding XSP& book. It’s up to you just how long you stay with us.

You say you track the return on investment (ROI). How does that work?
ROI is very important to us and traditionally it’s always been a sticky issue in the marketing, advertising and public relations worlds. We feel, however, that ROI can be tracked by base-lining where you are in your marketing efforts and to continuously audit your growth and expansion as well as other criteria that comes into play when marketing and branding your company, products and services. Has your internal culture improved? Have you filled your sales pipeline with better leads? Have you communicated better to your audience? Have your recruiting efforts improved? Has your creativity flourished? These are a couple of things we take into consideration when tracking the success of your involvement in XSP&.

How many people are in each group?
Ideally there will be no more than five in each group. This allows us to remain on a strict time schedule while not taking away from the individual experience.

Where and at what times are the workshops held?
As groups form, the early adopters will determine the workshop times. We’ll make every effort to conduct the weekly workshop in a centralized location for each of the five participants. CLICK HERE to receive updates on XSP& as we announce new workshops and news.

How much does it cost?
The monthly cost is at an introductory rate of $175. If you sign up now you will receive that rate as long as you’re in XSP&. We charge three-months at a time. If that payment method doesn’t work for you, please contact us and we can discuss other options.

Who leads the group?
Dave Klonke, Principal and Creative Director at SOZO / PIVOTAL, has created the XSP& content and will lead the first several workshops. However, we are always looking for other marketing and branding professionals who are capable of delivering the program. We cannot guarantee that your group leader will always remain with your group. However, we will make every effort possible to maintain consistency in each group setting.

What if I can’t make it to a meeting?
If you can’t make the meeting you have a couple of options. Call your group leader and go over the content over the phone following the meeting you missed. Or, find another XSP& workshop and drop in as a visitor to their group at a later time of the week. Of course we cannot guarantee the same topic is covered during the same week, but we will review the schedule and make sure that you are aware of the day that the content you missed is being covered.

How is this different than hiring a traditional marketing consultant?
Two things. It’s a lot less expensive and it’s in a group setting. Obviously we think there are significant benefits to both! As a group, the costs are shared.

Can I change groups?
Of course. If for whatever reason you’d like to change groups you are able to do so given there is space available in another group.

I have a colleague that may be interested. Can I have them visit our group?
Of course! Bring him or her to a complimentary workshop so they can experience what it is all about.
