Financial Architects

The Background
Financial Architects Inc. was founded over 20 years ago and the financial advisor firm has created and maintained an extensive list of loyal clients. Throughout the firm’s existence new advisors have joined and the services and products provided have grown as well.
The Challenge
While the firm has been extremely successful and is confident in its market positioning, there had been a noticeable disconnect between the various consultants and professionals. The senior advisors, entrenched in their proven ways of conducting business, were faced with different issues than the younger consultants hungry to grow their rolodexes and busy pounding the pavement for business. While the entire staff worked under the Financial Architects umbrella, their goals and objectives couldn’t be more different. The firm’s partners realized the important role that every member—from support staff to consultants—played in the success of the firm and, more importantly, its clients. No longer should advisors market their services individually. The Financial Architects team would work as a team of advisors, consultants and professionals in best serving the firm’s clients.

The Solutions

Financial Architects brought SOZO | Pivotal into the fold for what they thought would be a web site re-design. The intent was to simply start somewhere. After listening to the various marketing challenges, SOZO | Pivotal recommended taking several significant steps back before proceeding with the web site. Following an in-depth review of the existing marketing initiatives and talking with key staff, SOZO | Pivotal undertook the task of creating an entirely new branding strategy.
The new theme for Financial Architects was unveiled. “Tomorrow Always Comes.”
This tag line addressed a number of key elements. The most important being that Financial Architects wanted to effectively speak to all clients via a consistent message. From ages 25 to 105, generation gaps had to be carefully communicated to by incorporating the same message. Secondly, each staff member and advisor must be able to adapt the theme into their individual communication techniques.
Today the theme is being implemented throughout all levels of the organization. It’s in the fabric of Financial Architects and it has pulled the staff together to focus on the common goal. What does tomorrow mean for you? It’s coming and how have you prepared for it? The theme is simple, yet it addresses the issues that people stay awake thinking about at night.
